Well, I noticed there wern't many Woodstock reviews and even though I already posted on for the Manassas and Camden show I had to tell about Woodstock.

I was about 5 people from the front (the closest I've ever been and it was well worth the waiting and being squished). Stevie was very playful and open, even more so than the previous concerts I had been to. It was really cute when it started raining and she held her hands out and said "Rhiannon must be doing this" then when a man came out w/ and umbrella for her she turned around w/ her hands on her hips and said " We're only using that if it gets really bad - Mary Poppins I am not" It was really erie, but after Stevie sang Rhiannon it stopped raining! Her mystic spirit must have been communicating w/ Rhiannon.

She sounded great and when she couldn't reach the high long note in Garbo she kinda looked down and I saw her mouth "sorry" or something like that. Her set list was the standard Enchanted set list and she was so happy to be there. Toward the middle of Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You she started to loose it (I could tell by her face) and she started crying at the end. She didn't even get out the part she says live "And when they ask her about the men in her life, and they do ask her" because she stepped away from the mic w/ her face in her hands and was bawling. She tried to get it together for the "poets...priests of nothing...legends" part, but she was still really crying and she pretty much cried out the end. It was so moving to see her cry and how much this meant to her after seeing her 3 times on this tour. She told us that she needed to do this and it was so good for her and she was trying to give a piece of herself to us and hoped that we took something away w/ us.

I sure hope she does do this again like she sounded like she was going to. I was almost in tears too. I certianly have taken that away w/ me and will have it always.

Nicole

(CONCERT STORIES)

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend 2 Stevie shows this summer!! It definitely made up for not being able to take trip to Fla.. this yr!!What can be said about Stevie??? She rocked both concerts! Twisted knocked me down!! at both shows!! Also Gold and Braid at the woodstock performance!! Just incredible!! i have to tell you there are really no favorites!! Stevie is pure magic in my eyes,,has been for 20 odd yrs and will continue to be so.. I was and still am enchanted by her!!

The energy,, the beauty, the way she makes you know she is singing for you,, it is just incredible.. I did lock eyes with her once at Woodstock and time stood still for me,, i will never forget for one moment i read the joy in her eyes she was feeling by performing and i can only hope she read the joy in mine!! By the way at Woodstock ,, she opened with Outside the Rain of course and stood there with her palms up smiling!! and yes we did get the rain,, but it made the event even more magical cause when it was time for Rhianon in the performance,,~magic~ the rain stopped..!!!

The show was even more special to me because my twins attended with me,, they are 12 yrs old,, it was their first,, and yes they felt her magic!!! Thanks for letting me share Cindi

The banner "once in a millioin yrs. a lady like her rises" Kudos to Welsh Witch!!!
