Jimmie Scooter has a demo tape out...sort of. The recording was done back in February '98, got mixed and shit, so it's done, but they were too broke at the time to get it printed up in large quantities. And now the band's sound has gotten about 4,000 times tighter, and new songs have been written, so they're going back in the studio soon to do a new one that will be officially released. But in the meantime, Brian's been copying the first one, called Which Way to Connecticut by hand, with an insert and everything, to sell at shows. And people actually buy the damn things. But just in case you're a groupie from Zimbabwe and can't make it to a show to get one, go to the page where you can buy something and we'll send you one. And that is the end of the official, long version of the demo story. Don't you feel informed though? You can download the wave for Lunchmoney; it's long, so it takes a while. So go pour yourself some Surge and eat a Cinnamon Frosted Pop Tart, it'll be done by the time you get back.
Anyways, the demo's got six songs on it:
These are the old songs though, some of which aren't even played anymore, recorded a long time ago, and let's just say that the sound has improved since then. Improved a lot. A whole lot. So until they go back in the studio, in order to hear all the new, better songs that you love so much, like Higher Learning, Color Contact High(the song formerly known as JNS), The Lesson, 366, etc., you'll just have to come to the shows.
