I got to see three different shows for The Dance tour! The first was in Camden, NJ on Sept. 26, 1997! I never thought the night would get here, and it was the first time I would see Fleetwood Mac in concert! And it was exciting knowing that I had second row seats, the best seats I have ever had for a concert!! My sister and I bought flowers for every band member hoping that they would wear them since everyone had something. For Stevie I had a tambourine decorated in flowers and my sister had a flowered ring for her hair! Stevie’s assistant had brought the tambourine on stage before the show as they were setting up, but later took it back stage! Unfortunately, they never wore the flowers!

Then the show started! It was fantastic being so close to the stage!!!! After seeing the MTV special it was hard to imagine anything topping that, but this show outshined the video by far! The packed house loved every minute! Stevie sounded wonderful! She wore a black dress and changed capes throughout. The gold cape for Gold Dust Woman, a redish/gray coat for Rhiannon, the sparkely one for Stand Back and a tux like jacket to end with. Stevie wore a shinny red jewel on her forward!

My favorite songs were Gold Dust Woman, Rhiannon, Silver Springs and Landslide! But ever song was wonderful, and the whole band played fantastic! It was awesome to see the Mac together! I love Lindsey’s new versions of Go Insane an Big Love! I’m So Afraid live is awesome! He seemed to appreciate all the applause. Chris sounds as great as ever, such a beautiful voice! John joined in on Say You Love Me like on the MTV special, and Mick did a dance with drums on his vest.

When it was over I thought this was the very best! That is until I went to Madison Sq. Garden in NYC on Thanksgiving night! The song set was the same as in all the shows, and the clothing Stevie wore was pretty much the same, except that she wore the long sleeved black dress she had on in the MTV special. This was the best show of the three I got to see! The band was just on fire!! Everything was perfect, every single song the very best possible I feel! The stage was big and had alot of space so Stevie did more dancing on the side behind Lindsey! While I was not in second row, I was close to the front on Lindsey’s side of the stage again! They all seemed much closer this show. Stevie would rest her hands on his shoulders during Silver Springs and he laid back his head on her shoulder still playing! The crowd went wild after every song! I hope everyone gets to see this show on video, as no one should miss it! Its my very favorite show!!!!

Atlantic City was the last show I got to see. I’d say it was my second favorite as far as performance, but being at the Camden waterfront in second row was the best for seating! I was 13th row on Lindsey’s side again, the best place to be, as Stevie is always facing Lindsey! Again, every song was fantastic. The very best was Silver Springs when Stevie had Lindsey finished the last couple lines of the song!

It was sad when the tour ended, but then there are so many great new things coming that its something to look forward to!
