How did I get to know Melissa Etherige is a funny little story. I was at home watching Mtv Brazil and suddenly there was an adverticement of some siger I never heared about.
Someone called Melissa Etheridge; the album 'Your Little Secret'.....
The adveticement showed a piece of 'I Want To Come Over'. I liked the tune and the voice of this 'Melissa Etheridge' but that was all for that moment.
To tell you the truth I wasn't so sure about giving her a try. Since then there were precious little things I had heared about Mrs. Etheridge.
I don't know why I decided to purchase her album during my one week US vacation. A shot in the dark that hit the target....
A smooth combination of some more eletric and some soft Rock. That's what 'Your Little Secret' is all about for me.
After a short preiod of time, I realised (what is obvious to everyone who knows Melissa's songs) Melissa Etheridge is a great singer with a powerful voice, amazing songwriter and
knows everything about how to use a guitar....
Haunting time began that day. I asked fiend about other Melissa albums, purchased almost all I could find and of course reading FAQs in several pages to Melissa Etheridge.
Unfortunatly I haven't seen a show of hers, wasn't able to see videos (because Mtv Brazil never shows them!). So Melissa Etheride for me now are several songs, a lot of information...
Nothing really substancial.
Joining the Melissa Etheridge mailing list (C) was something really interesting.

It started early on with Melissa trying to convince her parents she deserved a guitar... ;o)
she finally got it when she was 8. As time passed by ....
