Evolve
Using the feedback from users of the knowledge, the next
step turns into the last step, which is also the first step of
the knowledge life cycle . . . Evolution.
The author reviews the feedback from the users, and
depending on what was returned for review, the author may change
the knowledge to encompass the feedback, making the KO more accurate,
thus evolving the knowledge in the process. This step returns to the
first step of the cycle because knowledge is once again created; this
time from an existing KO.
The evolution of knowledge maintains the usefulness of
the knowledge and draws from the experience, education and
outlook from various people who use it. The future of knowledge
management is just now budding into life. Begin the evolution today!
