During the summer of 2000, I worked in a local accounting firm, Raymond Y K Tse & Co. I gained hands-on experience in audit. I do not want to overstress this experience, but it did provide me opportunities to look over the books of clients. This was particularly helpful to enhance my understanding over how a company operates. In the summer of 1998, I worked in Giordano Limited as management trainee. I participated in front-line retailing and was responsible for market research. This working experience let me know better about the operation of a listed company, which I think will be valuable to my future career development. |
