I walked to the bookshelf because I have meant to read it again, and could not find it anywhere. Could you please let me know if I have leant it to you... I don't remember where it may have landed. Then, again, it might find its way back to me one day, like another book has. Thanks, anyway.
And here is to one more book, this one as a recommendation. Márai's first novel published in English. According to one of the editorial reviews at Amazon.com, "all of Márai's novels are now slated for American publication".
And I realized that Denise Levertov died in 1997. Here you can find more of her poetry. I used to take her books out of the used-to-be library of the United States by the dozen. Well, almost.
