My abstracts appeared as a turning point after hundreds of landscapes. Abstracts offered me a fresh start with new challenges and freedom to be nonobjective. It was wonderful to start anew and fun to be very freewith new mediums where one can do just about anything, including collage. (The side benefit is the rekindled love of new landscapes). While many abstracts appear nonobjective, there were definite influences from nature and from music. The goal will be to integrate these various interests for the future.
