Boysen's Landscapes have had a very lengthy history, primarily done plein aire. Year after year, she went on location no matter how far or close the scene. She has had to cope with ticks, heat, wind and a sundry of onlookers. The police have asked her to move and joggers always say they want a painting. The scariest and most perplexing interruption was a nude man asking for company in sunbathing.
