James Bond at your Service....July 29, 1999
Another Thrusday has come and gone. Another 24hr "shift" with my relief care client through. We both survived, more or less. I thoroughly enjoy when he brings his Nintendo64...who said they do not make good babysitters? Apparently it was someone who has never spent 24hrs with a child with ADHD, and perhaps other as yet undiagnosed behaviour disorders (again, all they have to do consult Reekie). Furthermore, growing up thinking that Pac Man was the absolute coolest video game on Earth, this thirty something adolescent wannabe gets a kick out of it, too. It allows me to resurrect my alter ego....
Call me Bond....James Bond. 007 himself, the savvy, sexy, Sultan of Espionage...here to rid the world of apocalyptic terrorists the world over. Watch me as I use my aught .22 to kill well over 100 badguys and blow up their home base.
Alas, while they make it look that easy in the movies, the game GoldenEye I am finding quite a challenge indeed. I have been playing it at the most difficult skill level, and have yet to get past the first level. I doubt that HMSS will be recruiting me anytime soon. Oh, but it is fun, and quite a rush of testosterone. If the only guns in existence were in video games, the world would be a much safer, scerene place. Then again, that would mean Nintendo and Sony would own it, for how else would all those Yanks south of me find a way to suffice their unrequited need to bear arms but to make billions for the video giants? I say just masturbate more, but even then I bet most have to do it with a gun in the other hand to be able to reach orgasm. Quite a dilemma. As consternating as I find my Thursday client at the best of times, he made quite a gracious gesture today; he is going to camp for two weeks and allowed me to hold onto his N64 until he gets back. He tries. If he did not I do not think I could stand to see him every week. Needless to say, by the time he gets back, I may already have found my spot with British Intelligence. Gotta go practice my aim...Pac Man....bah... ....Blessed Be
