My Communication With Our Leaders and YB Alfred Jabu's Response
In March 1998, I faxed the articles "Segraduate Sepintu" & "PMR Analysis" to YB Joseph Entulu, Celestine Ujang and En Robert Labar and email the same to YB James Masing. I got a call from Joseph Entulu requesting for some idea on how to go about in improving education of the Dayak.
In April 1998, I had a meeting with En. Robert Labar asking for their help to implement some of our idea. I gave him copies of all the idea that we brainstormed through the internet and request him to forward a copy to En Joseph Entulu.
In May 1998, I mailed the articles Segraduate Sepintu, PMR Analysis & all the brainstormed idea to YB Alfred Jabu, Celestine Ujang, James Masing, Joseph Entulu & En Robert Labar. So far, I got response from YB Alfred Jabu. See below my letter to our selected leaders and the response from YB Alfred Jabu. Basically, this is what he said:-
He is always interested in the education of the Dayak people
His difficult time going to school in the early days.
What we do are in line with Dayak Cultural Foundation
Our idea are goods; some has been implemented by them, some are practical, some are not
Stated few major things that he/they had done successfully
Difficult to implement some sound idea because of negative attitude of some of our people
His hope that SADIA to do better in near future
Changing of attitude to the advantage of our community
10 graduates per longhouse by 2010 as envisaged by YB Celestine Ujang

It is not really clear in A.Jabu's letter on how we are to proceed further. Giving idea or provide information is the basic thing and what we all want to see is result.
I am going to meet YB Ujang since he has more or less the same vision. His vision need to be fine tuned a bit since the size of longhouses varies greatly between one another; some less than 10 and some more than 50 families. And his vision is limited to the Dayak who are staying in a longhouse. I may want to propose to him that the vision for 2010 to be "Average of Segraduate Sepintu" and by 2020 to be like what we mentioned "Each & every Dayak family to have at least one graduate".

Ngemansang ke Pelajar Anembiak Dayak
Aku datai ari Lemanak, Lubok Antu lalu diatu bekerja di Asean Bintulu Fertilizer, nyadi Planning Manager. Bisi ninga berita ti madah ke bala kita bisi udah sereta deka ngadu ke pekara ti besangkut-paut enggau pemansang pelajar sekula kitai bansa. Kami sedia nyukong pengawa ke baka nya.
Ditu aku bisi nyimpulang ke karang aku "Segraduate Sepintu". Utai ti deka dipadah ke aku ngagai kita, bisi dalam karang nya. Bisi mega nyimpulang ke analysis ti digaga kami ke pemutus peresa PMR 1997 ba Bintulu Division. Analysis nya ukai semina mandang ke pengurang pemandai bansa kitai tang mega mandang ke kitai bansa pandak tinjau sereta enda nemu jalai belajar.
Kami sedia nulong lalu ke ditemu aku, diatu bedau bisi tempat (dedicated body tauka platform) ti manah ti alai kami meri penemu enggau tulong pasal pelajar sekula. Enti sema udah bisi tempat ke bakanya, minta kita madah ke kami sapa enggau dini endor. Penemu kami bisi tang kuasa kami agi kurang. Enti kitai bansa ke bisi penemu berakup enggau kitai bansa ke bisi kuasa, sama-sama ngemansang ke pelajar sekula, nya baru kitai ulih tegagai ke bansa bukai. Sekeda penemu pasal jalai ngemansang ke pelajar kitai bansa bisi mega disimpulang ditu lalu "implementation" ke penemu nya bepanggai bendar ba tulong sereta kuasa ari kita.
Ari nya, kami arap bendar ke bala kita ke Tuai bansa kitai, ulih ngada ke tempat ti alai kitai (The Intellectual and The Powerful Dayak) betemu berandau bebagi ke penemu, sama-sama ngereja pengawa (implement) sereta ngemata ke pemansang pelajar kitai bansa.
