The Brethren of Fox

Once upon a time there were 5 half-elven brothers (half human, half deep elf) of Clan Fox, and they were betrayed by their half brother. Their home was destroyed by fire and their mother killed. Afterwards, they lived with heavy hearts.

  • Levindar Fox - telepath

Lev was barely 1 year old when he lost his mother. His father had died before he was born. He and his older brother Hart were named for their father, Levharta. When he was 1 1/2 years old he was discovered to have the psionic plague. While he was sick he was kidnapped during the night and delivered to the order of secrets, where for the next 8-9 years he was trained in the most harsh of ways to be a member of the order of secrets - a mindreaper. Later, he was discovered by his brothers and taken home before his training was complete. This resulted is dire effects. Lev is a barely controlled force with power beyond what should be in the hands of a child.

  • Hart Fox - warrior/monk

Hart was about 11 when his brother, Lev, was stolen in the night. He blames himself for the loss of Levindar, because he was suppost to be taking care of him that night. Hart was severly wounded that night, and while the other brothers believed that Levindar was now dead, Hart still believed and spent most of his life searching for word of his little brother, in the hopes of returning him home. He was an innocent boy, carefree and always hungry, until his younger brother was stolen away. Afterwards, he was still hungry, but less carefree. He dedicated himself to studying the bow, the way of the monk, and finding leads on his brother. When Lev was stolen, Hart made a vow on their parent's-pretend grave to bring Levindar home. Only, by chance does he finally find Levindar.

  • Shin Fox - bard

Shin (or Shinji) the blond-haired twin, reckless, daring and a would-be loner, if he wasn't always followed by his twin brother Kage, but like many twins is a complete opposite. Shin is the flirt and ladies man, daring, proud, and oh-so-too-sure of his own charms. Liking life on the edge of a dagger, Shin is fearless, taking riskes that will some day become his downfall. Shin is a talented bard and in the future becomes frustrated when his music doesn't charm the affections of a maiden (who actually is deaf). His best known instruments that he plays is the flute and a deep-elven stringed instrument similiar to the violin.

  • Kage Fox - thief

Kage is the first born of the twins and feels it's his great resonsibility to watch over and protect his younger twin. Kage is neither reckless or daring, but confindent in his ability with two short bladed swords. A reluctant thief, he only learned the roguish skills so that he could get Shin out of trouble and often out of jail. Quiet and reserved, he always carrying a weapon (usually a dagger) and is often seen reading a book. Like Shin, Kage is fearless, but fights with a passion that doesn't lead to recklessness. Forever the cold one, Kage acts as Shin's bodyguard and later his heart becomes torn when Shin betrays the brothers.

  • Thorn Fox - warrior

Thorn is the oldest of the brothers and is stubborn, over-confident, a totel loner, and seeks a personal revange against his half-brother, Ravus, who destroyed their home and killed their mother. Desiring the return of his father's name which was stripped from them, the title of clan leader which originally Thorn did not desire, and revange for the kidnapping of his youngest brother, Thorn is hotheaded, overly prideful, distrustful of others and extremely cold to people, including his own kin. He carries the bastard sword that once belonged to his father, but seeks nothing better than to plung it into his half-brother's heart for destroying his life, killing his mother, banishing his brothers, stealing his youngest brother, and taking from him his father's family name of Fox. Despite all that, Thorn has a passion for the simple acts of gardening, which is where he tries to bury most of his rage, rather than taking it out on his remaining brothers.
