So, as requested by many, pictures of my apartment.
The first thing you see when you walk in the door: two stuffed lobsters my parents got me at a flea market. I have no idea what they were thinking.
My two bookshelves. This represents about a quarter of the books I actually own. The rest are at my parents’ house.

A better view of our cabs and heads.Holy God this is dull. Think of something more interesting for me to photograph, please. I’m losing IQ points. Maybe if I told a funny story with each picture? We’ll try that.
The right side of my kitchen. I haven’t had sex on a single one of those counters. To the right, you can see the toaster oven I scammed off my folks. It looks like napalms been dropped on it. I’m sorry I didn’t get a closeup.
The left side of my kitchen. Like all the dirty dishes? I swear I did a load after I took the picture. My kitchen’s pretty damn spacious, if I do say so myself. Plus, it’s got a dishwasher. You see that ceramic parrot in the upper left hand corner? I got that at a yardsale when I was nine, and I insisted that it be given a place of honor in my parents’ living room. Tacky, tacky thing. I could do no less at my own apartment.
Our bed. The posters are mostly Dirk’s, I’ve gotta say, while the stuffed animals are mostly mine. The brown blobby looking thing on the pillow on the lower right corner? That’s a stuffed horseshoe crab that I got at the aquarium in NC. That’s my pillow it’s sitting on, since it squicks Dirk out. The bed itself is boffo, with lights in those little glass-door cupboards and a phone jack built in. I think it was originally a waterbed frameThat’s enough for today. The image tags are getting on my nerves. I’ll put up the rest of the photos tomorrow.
