Freaky Tour of Amsterdam!
Here's me posing in one of the displays at the Torture Museum, right on the Damrak just a couple of blocks from Centraal Station in Amsterdam. This museum does not contain a collection of S & M-related stuff. It has actual medieval torture and punishment devices from all over Europe. Chastity belts from the Crusades, the Iron Maiden from the Inquisition, and many other displays. It's scary and kind of sad to think of how people suffered in these devices. But very interesting.
The front of the Erotic Museum in the Red Light District. I was standing there waiting for the front to be clear of passersby for the picture, but a police officer made it just in time to have his picture taken. He apologized profusely but I was kind of glad to catch a shot of one of the many friendly cops in Amsterdam. It's also an opportunity to show how the police there are extremely easygoing and act just like everybody else. (Checking out the Erotic Museum as you walk by.) It's refreshing and pleasant to see police without the superior attitude that they have in the U.S.

A little room in the Erotic Museum where they show an endless loop of
pornographic Snow White cartoons. The dwarves are totally out of hand! Seat yourself on the
little chairs and it's just like kindergarten.
Here's a photo of a coffeeshop that I went to. (In Amsterdam they don't call
them "Hash Bars," they call them coffeeshops. If you want just coffee, you have to go to a cafe.)
