This page contains free samples of background tiles and graphics for use on non-commercial websites.

Here are a few select samples of our unique background images.

By using any of the following samples, you agree to follow the guidelines set forth within the LEGAL STATEMENT.

LEGAL STATEMENT:
The above "Free Samples" (samples) are the literal and intellectual property of MoatsArt™ Enterprises (MAE). Samples may be used on any NON-COMMERCIAL website under the following stipulations:
    - No changes are to be made to any samples. This includes resize/scale, changing color or hue, changing brightness or contrast, cropping, or any alteration to these samples.
    - Do not link directly to these files. License is granted for download of the samples to your computer, thereafter uploading to your NON-COMMERCIAL website for use. These image files may be removed or replaced on our servers at any time, so if you wish to continue using these samples, you must download a copy.
    - A link to the MAE website (www.moatsart.org) must be placed within some part of the website that uses any one of these samples. Said link must contain at minimum the MAE logo (this one: www.moatsart.org/MAElink.gif)  OR  the initials (MAE) as the link text. If a description is given, it should be as follows: "Selected graphics on this website sponsored by MoatsArt Enterprises."
    - A message should be posted in the Message Center providing a link to the page where the sample has been used. Thereafter, a mutual link will be posted on this website to the location where the sample has been used. Links will be verified randomly at any time to verify the sample is still in use at that location and that a MAE link exists.

These images are for limited public use. Any commercial website or commercial organization found using these images for profit will receive one notice to remove the sample promptly. Thereafter, legal action will be taken as necessary.
