Here is a collection of the three screen plays that I wrote in a screen writing class at college. The next two writings are additional excercises that I did in the class and thought were worth putting here. After that it's a toss up.
Mutineer Fall 95, 3 pages
Boxcars Fall 95, 8 pages
An old man goes up against a much younger generation. This is the best screen play out of the three. The teacher, oscar winner David Goodman, really liked it and the next semester when I was no longer majoring in film, he tried to get seniors looking for scripts to pick it up. A few people were interested but didn't go any farther than that, realizing that it would be too big and expensive of a project. Oh well. I think it would make a cool movie - a ten minute one anyway, but that's how long senior films usually are. Check it out.
Wallace and the Ants Fall 95, 10 pages
An Entomologist designs revolutionary armor for his ants but will he put them to war?
Furnace Fall 95, 3 pages
A psychologist discovers a way to see his patient's minds. This isn't an actual script. It's more of a sketch excercise in which we were to develope a story in eight different scenes. Most likely you won't understand this story at all. It's way too short to be as complicated as it is. But it's pretty much my only dabbling in sci-fi so I thought I'd put it here.
Hemingway Sketch Fall 95, 2 pages
This is an excercise we did in which we were to rewrite a scene from a Hemingway story so that it is completely objective. That is, descriptive in a way that doesn't have a narrative voice and go into any of the character's minds. This is one of the first creative writings I did in college and reading it again after a long time I still think it's pretty decent. I have no idea what Hemingway story it is from.
Failureville and you May 99, 1 page
Tent City October 99, 6 pages
An idea for a sitcom that would never worm its way into network television. Check it out and see why.
