This was indeed frightening. This was only Simon's second game after taking over Liverpool after leaving Inter Milan. In his first game at Liverpool, Simon beat Leeds at Elland Road 4-1, which in itself was quite disturbing. Simon went on to finish runners-up behind Man Utd in this season, but the next season was a white-wash as he took them to the title by only losing 2 games.

PLEASE DO NOT ADJUST YOUR MONITOR. Yes, as you can see, Simon managed to take lowly Republic of Ireland to the final of the World Cup, and to lose with dignity on penalties (incidently I refuse to play Paul Holland again, and Rory Delap's too good to drop). During the Easter holidays, on one Saturday night/Sunday morning at around 1.00 am, Simon got a little nervous watching it so he went to the bog only to return to the stain on his screen. He wasn't frustrated however, because getting to the final was good enough anyway.

This result was obviously frightening. At 4-1 down, I well and truly thought that my superstar Inter team had spackered-up once again, and I was at my wits-end with calamity goalkeeper Hans-Jôrg Butt. I can't really add anything else to this one, but it's definitely my favourite.
