Basically I wrote this because of my experience with netbus. I got it from a friend and soon found out what it was used for. Then I spent about an hour trying to find out what's going on.. never heard of such a thing or suspected it existed. :)).. Some time after I found a new version of NetBus and learned how to use it. It's amazing how widespread this virus is. When scanning the internet for infected computers, I would find one in every 1000 IP's. Cosidering it probably takes a tenth of a second to scan one IP, finding a victim is EXTREMELY easy! Set up a pool of 10,000 IP's and you'll get at least a few people that have their computers waiting to be broken into. Once you're on, you can do anything, including deleting, downloading and uploading files, running and killing the victim's applications, and seeing what do they got on their screen. (Gets boring after a while).. Most people either sit on a chat or surf porn. Occasionally a Quake player.. :). Sometimes an IP that turns out is a fake NetBus server. There are programs out there that are supposed to nab you once you connect to a fake NetBus server. They'll start trashing your screen with popping up windows, or say something like "You're being nuked now" .. nothing you can't handle if you know what you're doing. But uhmm.. be careful :). One more thing - I hope that you don't go killing others computers now.. I wrote this to let people know what's out there to watch for. :) <--back
