Greetings from Robin Hood School.

My Name is Ann Aston and I am the Deputy Head Teacher. I am delighted to e-mail you and send to you all our good wishes for the new year.

Our school has 400 pupils aged 4 to 11. We also have a nursery for children aged 3 years and there are 78 children in our nursery. They will begin school in September. We have a Headteacher and 14 other teachers plus trained helpers called classroom assistants.

School starts at 8.55 a.m. and finishes at 3.15 p.m. We have an hour for lunch between 12 o' clock and 1 o' clock. Children have lessons in the following subjects: English, Maths, Science and IT - these are the mostimportant. They also learn History, Geography, Art, Music, P.E.( sport) and Religious education. We have clubs after school for - football, art, drama, athletics, computers,cricket.

My name is Nida Khan. I am 9 years old and I am in class 8. I am in year 4. My religion is Islam. My hair is black and I have brown eyes. I have one brother who is in year 1 , he is 6 years old. My sister is in year3, she is taller than me. She is 7. My favourite subjects are maths, technology and R.E. MY hobbies are Akido on Mondays. I go with Ben. I do cricket and football in the summer. I have swimming on Tuesdays. My friends are Ramon Seera, Ben Tebbut, Kieran Grady, Navdeep Kamboz, Nathan Wellinston, Jayesh Chauhan, Safir Hussain and Jason Watts. The subject I am very good at is maths.

My name is Lauren Arnold. I am 8 years old. My hobbies are skating, swimming and cycling. I am in year 4 , class 8. My favourite subject at school is Religious education.. My hair is brown and the colour of my eyes is brown. I have a little sister called Emily and she is 6 and a little brother who is called Joel and he is 1 and a half. I go to Keyboard lessons on Mondays and swimming on Tuesdays. My best friends are Laura Hardy, Emmaline Hartland , Nicole Mc Cann, Ruhie Fyjun and Melissa Finn. The subject I am most good at is mathematics.

my name is Daniel Black and I'm a boy. I have brown hair and blue eyes and I'm very happy. I 'm 9 year's old . I have one younger sister she is called Claire. .I live in a city called Birmingham in a country called England. I like pop singers - Peter Andre, Spice girls, and the Fugees. ButI also like football, judo, martial arts and akideo. I also like roller blading,but school is really good. My school is called Robin Hood and I'm in class 7. There are 23 children in my class. My favourite subject is I.T. At school you can get green certificate's for good behaviour and excellentwork .But the best certificate is the golden award. Two people in every class get one ,one a boy and one girl each get one.I have had a golden award once with Lucy Karim in year 2 but I'm really trying to get the golden award this year. I have 3 green certificates so far.We only have 3 week's until the Easter holiday.My best friend's are Bonnie Halford and Ryan Richardson and James Foster.

My name is Lucy Karim I am a girl.I have brown eyes, and have brown hair .I am 9 years old. My favourite subject is I.T. I go to Robin Hood School.I live at 228 Robin Hood Lane Hall Green Birmingham B28 OEQ.I live in England. Birmingham is the second largest city in the country.I am in class 7 keystage 2 .Robin Hood School is on Pitmasten Road. My best friend is called Bonnie.I have one sister and no brothers,my sister is called Jenny and she's a pain. Jenny goes to Selly Park Girls School. I love singing along with music.My favourite boy group has got to be Boyzone I think they are brilliant.The favourite girl group is Spice Girls and the best Spice Girl is Sporty Spice.The best food in the world has got to be chips and toast. My favourite film in the world is Harriat the Spy.My favourite hobbies are Roller Blading, swimming, and going to clubs. This year for our holiday me and my family are going to Butlins in Minehead . Minehead is by the sea.And in England we only have 3 weeks until Easter when we have a school holiday.
