Ultimate (Play the Game)

Followed in autumn 1983 by Cookie and Tranz Am. Cookie was derivative of Pssst and Jetpac, in so far as it was a platform game, but it had it’s own charm and was nicely thought through and implemented. Tranz Am was something different, ambitious and original, a genuine 360º scrolling arcade driving game in which you drove your Tanz Am through a post apocalypse USA. Bright full colour, whole page adverts heralded their arrival in the computer press and established Ultimate (Play the Game) the software house to watch.
