Resume updated December 16, 2002

I have once again updated my resume. In addition to updating the resume's content in order to reflect last year's changes and additions to my responsibilities, I have also changed the online appearance of the resume. Since maintaining the HTML version of the document is a rather time-consuming matter, I have now changed the resume page into a frameset which displays the pdf document.

Jugendfest site updated July 17, 2002

Once again, my home town Lenzburg celebrated the annual Jugendfest. And even though this is the most beautiful day of the year in Lenzburg, it was an even more special event this time as the famous reenactment of the Freischaren battle celebrated its 150 years anniversary. Of course, the 430 Freischaren warriors tried extremely hard to change their fate and, for once, to win the battle. But, of course, things turned out the way they always have for the last 150 years - the 190 Cadets of Lenzburg defeated the intruders ans set their headquarter on fire.

In appreciation of this anniversary Jugendfest, I have redesigned and updated my Jugendfest web site. On the site, you will not only find a schedule of the events (which are not too interesting now that the big day is over) but also lots of pictures from the students' celebrations and, of course, from the Freischaren battle. And, for the first time, I have also uploaded some pictures of the nocturnal lampions parade and the fireworks display that concludes the festive day.

BMW M3 site redesigned October 10, 2001

I finally found the time to do something about the poor design of my BMW site. I have added the specifications of the E30 M3 and, more important, improved the site navigation. It now is easier than ever before to find what you're looking for.

X Files site redesigned February 7, 2001

Since my X Files site is the result of my very first attempt of dealing with HTML, the site's design was not very appealing and its construction was not very sophisticated. Therefore I have now completely redesigned the site and added some JavaScript goodies, such as an interactive slide show which runs either automatically (yes, the interval speed can be adjusted) or manually.

Site redesigned January 28, 2001

After finally improving my JavaScript and CSS skills to the point that allows me to actually use these technics in a reasonalbe way, I have completely redesigned every single page of this web site. The primary goal was to make navigation even easier than it already was and to keep the pages as simple as possible in order to minimize loading time. Since maintaining a bilingual web site is rather strenuous, I have decided to discontinue the German section of my home page. My resume, however, will remain available in German as a service to prospective Swiss or German employers.

Site refurbished December 18, 2000

Since GeoCities has introduced several changes regarding both the hit counters and the guest book, I had to modify my site in order to keep these features working. So I took the opportunity to also implement some minor changes of the layout of these pages. The more significant changes include: Finally, I have uploaded an updated version of my resume. Since I'm still working on reviewing the English version, the resume currently published is marked Under construction. The final version will be available soon.

Vacation August 28, 2000

Today, my well deserved vacation finally starts. I'll be back on October 5. After returning, I will make my travel diary (including some pictures) available to the world on my travel site. Of course, I will do my best to handle all incoming email messages as quickly as possible - depending on where and when I'll be able to find internet access on my trip.

BMW site updated January 1, 2000

Yes, I had to update my BMW M3 site once again. This time, however, the update reflects a rather unpleasant event. On December 23, 1999, at approximately 6:50 am, I crashed my car into the median barrier of the freeway on my way to work. So, If you wish to see the pictures that that show the result of this incident, just follow the Link Pictures from my crash in the menu.

BMW site updated November 7, 1999

On October 10, 1999, my BMW dealer took me and other customers to the race track Anneau Du Rhin to practice racing-style driving. I have now added some pictures from this day of fun to my BMW M3 site. You will find a picture of a Group N racing car which was there to take us for a ride, plus you'll see what a BMW (not mine) looks like after rolling over.

Ireland site up and running September 12, 1999

Finally, my online picture book from my vacation in Ireland is (almost) completed. You may have a look at my pictures on my Ireland home page. There's also a guest book to be signed, and you will find a list of links to other sites related to Ireland.

Unlike my Australia site, the picture gallery of my Ireland site actually contains some pictures. Unfortunately, the pictures from Dublin are not yet available. They will, however, be added in the near future.
