Well, back to windowed.
this time I've implemented a Hex map. didn't check it for bugs but take a look.

Today I've implemented layered tile maps.
All the map data is still hard coded but, There are two layers in the following demo.

I've made a small adjustment, There is a light spot following the character.
Hopefully it will work in full-screen, uses 24bit colors.

Ok a square tile demo, smooth scrolling and objects hanging around.
You can see animated tiles, same image, different refresh rate.
