I have notice by the time that in all the CPUs heat sings , when you remove the fan after a long operation time , its visible one trail of dust on heat sing .
I noticed that the use of 60x60 fans leave the center of the CPU heat sing clear of dust.
So the conclusion is that only as small part from the heat sing receives the air flow .
I decide to experiment a bit with that phenomenon , and after of long research I end up with the idea that I have to move away the fan blades from the heat sing.
Also in my consideration was to not have any performance drop.
The solution come easily to my mind , I select one body of one fan 60x60x2,5 mm ( I had it from a dead fan) I did take off the motor and the fan blades ,by cutting the support plastics that join the motor with the rest body of the fan .
I install the empty fan body first over the heat sing and the normal active fan at the top of it ..
I will only say that my damn idea just worked , I did see a 4 Celsius drop in my temperatures .
Its possible one day the fan manufactures to start having considerations about to improves on the fans design , by the same way that the manufactures of CPU heat sings have start doing their design improves .
