Maha-Vairocana
is the principal of the five Dhyani-Buddhas.
He is often depicted holding the Supreme Wisdom Mudra (five fingers of
left hand wrap around the index finger of the right hand) and white in
color. He represents Transcendental Wisdom which transforms the
ego-bound consciousness into universal consciousness.
