![]() Good question!!!
All things come to an end, and so does high school. Four years and we still
can't get enough of each other. We now live our separate lives (some hindi!!!),
each seeking out our purpose in life (whoah!!!). So where exactly is each
Msuans ??? Read on and find out...
Marbel, South Cotabato. Sounds familiar, of course, it is just an hour drive from Gensan. Lies in it is the Notre Dame of Marbel University where Lyle Ross Zambra (MED TECH), Reynaldo Chua (ComEng), Justin Tubao (ECE), Carlo Liwanag (ECE), Fritzer Belmonte (ECE), Gerryl lumangtad (ECE) are studying. Lucky for them, if they feel homesick, they can just pack up and..... they’re home. The land of promise, Davao City, also holds some of our fellow batchmates. Mark Anthony Lope (ECE), Josiah John Tan (PolSci), Abdul Farrid “TsuTsu” Sagad (wala mi kabalo), Francis Pasicolan (CE), Dennis Soriano (ECE), Rachel Lou Buenviaje (wala mi kabalo), Cherill Otero (BS Biology) are studying at Ateneo De Davao. Marietta Malinao goes at University of Immaculate Conception. Jasper Pula is out there also (wala mi kabalo sa school) taking up Architecture. Mindanao State University. We have this school in Gensan where, of course, we graduated in high school and almost all of the batch ’97 graduates are taking up their degree. MSU-IIT is a sister school where our valedictorian, Maelanie Pascua (ECE), and Holijane Gonzaga (BS Zoology) are having their studies. Melanie Claveria, our Miss Young MSU ’97, is at Kabakan together with Sheryl Bermejo (Ex ni Jigger). They are studying at University of Southern Philippines. I’ll quote what Aris said while we were at Ayala having some goodtime and at the sametime, he and Mercelle were dealing lightly with other girls --- “ Kaya dito ako nag-aral sa Cebu dahil maraming magaganda at konti lang kaming mga guwapo kesa sa Manila na konti lang ang guwapa tapos maraming guwapo, eh di hindi na kami masyadong mapapansin.” Of course it was a joke *(Nah, it’s the truth), but who knows, maybe it was one of their reasons. Jorge Christian A. Ong 'THE BEST THERE IS !!!' (BS MATH, dropped), Aristeo Corpus (ECE), Michael John Cordova (ME), Von Ahman Cabañero (ME), and our two future priests Ryan Regalado and Ernesto Vigafria, are in University of San Carlos. Alexander U. Nisperos 'THE BEST THERE WAS!!!' (CompEng, kick out), Mercelle Lozada (CompEng), Japer Dave Dayanan (ECE), and Dandee Verdejo (CompEng) are in Cebu Institue of Technology. And the only two butterflies who go along with the bees are studying at the University of the Philippines Cebu College *(This school SUCKS !!!), Fe Robilla Daproza (BusMngt) *(others), Mary Joy Sagayno (BS MATH CS). Just one hour away from Cebu is Dumaguete where the oldest American University is located. Siliman University has our “Clueless Star” Meggy Macion who is taking up MassComm..Together with Meggy is Jose Amado Torres our long lost friend. Then just another neighbor is Iloilo where the University of the Philippines Visayas is located, where Donna Salangsang (Management), Cheryl Ann Solitario (BSA), Mariam Suson (BSA), Mary Rosary Caspillo (BS Fisheries), and Jeanette Madas (BS PHYSICS) are enrolled. Some of our batchmates dared to study in the the most crowdedplace in our country – Metro Manila (The biggest mistake they ever made). Cherry Odi (Food Technology) *daughter of the owner of Ferlyn’s Store, open 25 hrs. a day, 366 days a year, 101 years in a century, accept all major credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, etc.), and now it offers rattan products. Cherry Rose Santiago (HRM), Janice Quimosing (HRM) *(uyab ni Raymond), Joyce Paraiso (wala mi kabalo), Joan Punsalan (wala mi kabalo) are at UP Diliman. Joy Consebit is in Manila Central University taking up MedTech. Alan Posadas (CS) and Maureen Dimamay (wala mi kabalo) are in De La Salle University. And last
but not the least, the prestigious Philippine Military Academy has our
own Edwin Pagaling.
