We had a lazy morning hanging around the campsite. We were up at 9:00. That day we were going to Berne (the capital of Switzerland). We left the site at about 11 o’clock because it was a two-hour drive. This was our last full day and we wanted to make the best of it. On the way to Berne we were all asked if we wanted the rest of our money out by Steve Fenn. Graham Page wanted his whole 74p of it out. It was a long drive but it was speeded up by a video ‘Drop Dead, Fred’.
When we got to Berne, we went over to the Bear Pit, which is a little garden in this pit which the Bears live in. Me and Robin Abbott were wondering if we put Rob Nichols in with the Bears, whether we could spot the difference but we couldn’t (both are bad tempered, large and frightening). Me, James Mates went into the town with Tom Williamson. James bought a pen-knife and the rest of the time we were walking around. At 1:30 Spud went to MacDonalds with Graham Toole and Graham Page. Spud spent 26 SFr on chips and things: (who eats all the pies, who eats all the pies, you fat b*****. You fat b*****you eat all the pies). Spud spent 4.60 SFr on two Ice Creams (£2.50) . A lot of people got presents for the family and got pen-knives engraved with their names and stuff. Graham Page bought a box of matches but he did not buy a sheath knife this time. On the way back to the campsite we stopped off in a swimming pool. The diving boards were COOL MAN. Jordan was the best diver because he was doing cartwheels off the top. We also went down the slide and 20 of us blocked it up - that was cool too. THAT DAY WAS COOL, SO WAS THE CAMP. THANKS!
