Hallway

The hallway floor is covered with the soft-white Italian tile.

The wall fabric of cotton continues through the hallway.

There are two recessed lights and a smoke alarm.

Laundry Room

A solid core pocket door with solid-brass hardware as are all pocket doors separates the hallway and laundry room.

This area has the same floor tile and there are two recessed lights.

Above the "Speed Queen" washer and dryer is an oak cabinet with recessed adjustable shelving and solid-brass handles. (There is no particle board used in the making of any of the cabinet shelving or drawers.)

The guest closet has a solid-core door with a solid-brass knob. There is a recessed light and the floor is tiled.

The utility sink has one deep compartment with hardware of a soap or hand-lotion dispenser and a spray hose. The counter, backsplash and side splashes are of white Italian tile set in mortar.

The walls are papered in white with a small design design and are washable.

Downstairs Bathroom

The bathroom is separated from the laundry room by a pocket door.

This area is also continued with the soft-white tile.

The window in the bathroom is also custom designed and made of redwood sash and thermo-pane glass. This window opens outward and can be adjusted as to the opening. Beneath the window is a clear heart redwood display/pot shelf.

There are two recessed lights and one heat lamp with a separate switch for the vent and one wall mount light with imported glass shade over the sink.

There are two custom designed and made oak mirrors, one is a medicine cabinet with adjustable shelves.

There is an almond-colored china pedestal sink and unique hardware. There are other unique brass pieces of hardware in the bathroom.

The shower has Italian tile in white with an emerald-green papyrus design in a custom layout, floor to ceiling. There is a light in the shower.

The almond-colored toilet is a water saving model.

The linen closest has ample space for towels, misc. and is tiled.

The exterior french door was used again to maximize passive solar efficiency. Covering the door and window are emerald-green pleated "Verosol" shades. This door can be used when coming from the spa so as not to pass through the kitchen. It is also an emergency exit.

The walls are printed in a soft white enamel and are washable.
