This is the third UHC gun I own. It is an airsoft of the Heckler and Koch USP.
Appearance This gun is pretty nice looking. No trademarks of any kind, but no orange paint either. The slide is gray, which a lot of people with real steel USPs seem to be upset about, as it is a shoddy try at replicating the not quite black slide of the actual gun. The ejection port opens, and it field strips, making it, the UHC M92F and the Y&P P99 the only three springers I know of that do so. A nice feature, especially if something inside goes pop. The magazine is full size and the slidelock acts as a safety.
Performance The gun fires pretty staright for a UHC springer. The range is also acceptable. I don't know much about the performance of this gun even though I own it, and I'll explain why below.
Negative Points I rarely, if ever, use this airsoft. It performs well and is sturdy, but the cocking mechanism bothers me. When you rack the slide, it feels as if you are grating it hard against the insides. This might be just mine, but it is bothersome. It is also hard to tell when it is cocked, and you have to be careful to pull the slide all the way back or it will double feed and not fire. It is a good gun though, and I usually lend it to my friends when we play.
Price I got mine for $19.99 at Tapco. It is a pretty good price and probably the best of the UHC Springers I've tried. |
