IRON STATION — Delmar Alexander Sherrill, Jr. 38, was born in Charlotte, N.C., September 18, 1956, the son of the late Delmar Sherrill and Mable Eugenia Foster Sherrill. He departed this life on Saturday morning, August 5, 1995 at his residence.

Delmar was a former machine operator at National Fruit.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Doretha Gidney.

Delmar was a quiet person, a dear friend to many. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife-Barbara Ann Schenck Sherrill; two sisters, Harriet Maxine Easter and Teresa Sherrill both of Iron Station, N.C.; four nephews, Danny Wingate, Reginald Bernard Wingate, Darren Wingate and Derek Easter; two nieces, Regina Hill and Carolyn Jones, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

FUNERAL: 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 1995, Providence Missionary Baptist Church, Lincolnton, N.C.
Officiating Minister: Rev. Barry B. Anderson.

BURIAL: Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, Iron Station, N.C.
