In the middle of the night, she ran. She hadn't done anything wrong at all. But now she was a fugitive. All because she was a Saiyin. She had to run, probably across the entire planet to escape Shinra Inc. Or maybe farther. Professer Hojo does happen to kow every geological landmark on the planet. Even though she was millions of miles away, unless she could find her brother to take her home, her attempts were futile.
He watched her run. He had turned off the alarm system to help her fufill her mission. When he first saw her locked up in that cage like an animal, he could merely gawk at her beauty. She had looked so frail on first glance. But her looks were deciveing. He was astonished when she punced thourgh the metal bars on her cage to escape. As he now watched her running for her freedom, he felt the need to protect her. No matter what.
She reached a large city. She slowed her pace as to not attract attention. But she need not rest. Her body was designed to excersise. It yearned for no rest. And it felt good to stretch her muscles. A silver glimpse caught her eye. Despite the danger she was in... she could not resist the erge to see. She rounded a cornor to see a man. The man had silver hair that reached his waist. His green eyes glowed with Mako. He toward over her at 6 feet 1. His facil features were so fine, he almost had a femine look about him. He was very well musceld.. and his chest showed thourgh the leather straps on his trenchcoat. He wore black pants and black combat boots. She gasped at the sight of him. He was beautiful.
He looked at her. He gazed into her eyes, as he thought of the secret forum they stood in. He looked into her pleading eyes.. and his heart ached. He wondered how a creature with such beauty should have such a helpless look in her eyes. He made a small gesture with his hand to indicate her to follow. He walked slowly in front of her making sure she followed. She followed closely behind. Eyeing his Masamune caustiously.
[I don't trust him.] She thought to herslef. [I won't let him take me back to Hojo!] She was almost sure that was what he was up to. But as he led her deeper and deeper into the shadows.. she trusted he wouldn't turn her in. He stopped. She walked to stand beside him, before she to stopped.
"You will be safe here. They shall not find you." He said. It took all of his self control to keep from gawking at her. He tried hard to resist the urge to run his fingers through her long, silky, midnight black hair.
"Why do you do this for me?" She asked him. She wanted to run away.. but she also wanted to know him. He was so gorgoues. Perhaps he could help her form a fundamental plan to get her home.
"Is it not a gentlemen's duty to assist a lady when she needs it?" He tried to be as polite as possible.. But his voice betrayed him any kindness he wanted to show. His voice was deep yet devoid of emotion. Not exactly friendly.
"Gentle man? I've never met a gentle man." She said. She could not understand this. She had only crash landed a few months ago.. And that crazy Hojo had locked her up the entire time.
"Not a gentle man. A man who is polite. A man who will be courteous and polite. Or perhaps your definiton is correct." He said. He wanted so badly to please her. In any way.
"Are you a gentleman?" She asked. She was very curious of this new concept.
"Am I?" He asked her. He did not wish to praise himself.. only discover how she felt.
"What kind of being answers a question with a question?" She asked. He seemed such an amusing man. She liked him. "I like you. You are very kind to me."
"Mahalo. I appreciate that very much." He said. He was afraid to say to much for fear of chasing her away.
"That is not all you wish to say. I can sense it. We are taught to be straightforward at all times. Why can't humans be the same way?" She said. She was honest entirely. But only mentioned for she longed to hear his voice for more than a few seconds.
"Because humans aren't like you. We are selfish, inconsiderte fools." He said. He could not help but admire the courage of her to just outright say that.
"True to you word, Sephiroth. You are a fool. Now return her to me, and I shall promote you to commanding officer." A voice called across the dark tunnel.
"Who are you? Show yourself to me!" She cried out. She tensed and stood in a defensive stance.
"My my. You have only been away for three days and you have forgotten my voice?" The voice called again. It had a ghastly sound to it.
"Hojo." Sephiroth said.
The man came out of the shadows and was followed by the four TURKS. "Return the Sayin to me at once, and no harm shall come to either of you."
"She doesn't want to go. Or else she wouldn't have run away." Sephiroth said.
"I refuse to go with you." She said.
"Bryn, Bryn, Bryn. I'm afraid you have no choice. You have no place to run." Hojo said as Shinra SOILDER's fillled the entrace they came through.
"Sephiroth.. Please don't let them take me back. I want to go home." Bryn pleaded to him. She looked at him almost in tears.
"I promise you this." His heart nearly tore in half. How could such a creature cry? Hojo would have to pay for doing this to her.
"What a touching scene. Get the girl and do NOT harm her!" Hojo yelled. The TURKS and SOILDER's advaced.
"What's a babe like you doing with a SOILDIER like him?" The red haird TURK asked.
"Reno, do not flirt with prey." A black haird one told him.
"Sure thing Tseng." Reno responded. He lowered his nightstick and prepared to attack..
SSSHING! Sephiroth's Masamune cut Reno's nightstick in half. "If she doesn't want to go, she is not going."
"Since when does the Mighty War God Sephiroth have a soft spot." The blonde female TURK said.
"Elena.. Don't tease him. He could slice you up in 10 seconds if you're not careful." Reno said.
Sephiroth protected her from the TURKS.. but he worried about the soilders. He couldn't shield her from all of them.
She fought bravely. She knocked out or killed every soilder who pounced on her. None of them even scratched her. Until she felt a cold clammy hand grab her arm and twisted it painfully behind her back. " Ahh!"
He slashed once more, and left a red line of blood across the belly's of all 4 TURKS. He spun around to see Hojo grapsing her tightly. "Let her go. NOW."
"My son. You have done well bringing her to me." Hojo laughed.
"Your son?!?! I trusted you Sephiroth! I can't belive you just handed me over to him!" She yelled at him. The hurt in her voice tore at his heart.
"Hojo. I can not stand to let you do this to this girl." He shoved his Masamune into Hojo's forehead. A small red stream trickled down his face. It thickend and became a heavy flow of blood. He relseased Bryn. He fell to his knees, and then landed on his face.
"I trusted you." Bryn said one more time. Before she broke into tears.
"I saved you didn't I?" Sephiroth said to her.
"Yes. But why didn' t you say that was your father?" Bryn asked.
"You didn't ask" Sephiroth said.
"Hey! Bryn! Been looking all over! Let's move it!" A voice yelled.
"Vegeta???" Bryn called.
"Who you excpecting? The Easter Bunny? Let's GO!" Vegeta called after her.
" I guess this is good bye Sephiroth." Bryn said to him.
" Not yet." He grabbed her shoulders and spun her around. With one hand he gently took her chin and forced her to look up. He lowered his face and pressed his lips to hers. He kissed her, and she kissed back. He let up after a few minutes. " Now.. it is goodbye."
With that.. She nodded. Then the beautiful Saiyin Princess looked at him with peace in her eyes. She walked toward her brother and boarded her ship. She threw him a ring. And then she was gone.
He walked toward the silver ring. He looked at it. It was silver with dolphins lining it. He slid it onto his finger. "It is trully better to have loved and lost.. than never to have loved at all."
