Here is Gus at 4 weeks old.  He is the one with the dark blue ribbon around his neck.

Gus was born on Christmas Day, 1997.  His registered name is Primetime Mr. Augustus Blu.  He quite the character.  Some of his nicknames are:  Whiner Boy, Puppy Man, Moochie the Magnificent, and Butter Butt.

Gus and Sa Sun Ka are on a Bones and Raw Food diet (BARF).  Gus was eating about 2 1/2 pounds of raw meaty bones at each meal, but since being neutered he is starting to put on the pounds.  We have cut him back to 1 3/4 pounds.  Sa Sun Ka eats as much as Gus.  Their  favorites are turkey necks and ground chicken carcass.  Every third meal they get a veggie mix meal with some of their favorites being carrots, celery, spinach, cauliflower, and collard greens.  This is put in the food processor with some raw eggs or some yogurt, or raw liver.  Sometimes I put a can of raw mackeral on top.  Then they get called Fish Breath.   For more info on BARF see the link on my links page.
