A museum exists for the display of military artifacts and memorabilia of all wars in which the United States has been engaged in since the Revolutionary War. Items in the museum have either been donated or loaned for display and all military services are represented. A special effort is made to create displays of interest focusing on particular events. We strive to create displays of interest to school age individuals, to instill in the minds of our youth an understanding of the need for a strong defense and a sense of pride in American traditions, ideas and accomplishments. The displays are rotated periodically, using material from storage, in order to encourage return visits. Admission is free. |

The museum
depends on donations and loan of military artifacts and
memorabilia for display. Due credit will be given to
anyone who donates or loans material. Families who have received a United States Flag that covered the last remains of a deceased veteran, presented by a grateful Nation for services rendered to his or her Country, are invited to donate the Flag to the Veterans Memorial Center to be flown in memory of the deceased veteran until no longer usable (to then be properly disposed of). |
