As ever, Alain Prost has
succeeded in attracting some of the most serious and
talented people around. Peugeot, first and foremost. The
French engine manufacturer is a fine addition to the
team, with the highly competent operations manager Jacky
Eackelaert at the head. Then there is Bernard Dudot, who
is taking over as technical director. The creator of
Renault's turbo engine needs no introduction. With twenty
years of experience of Formula 1 behind him, Dudot is the
kind of big name many a team would give their right arms
for. Finally, there are the Prost drivers. Olivier Panis
proved in 1997 that he is capable of being a race-winner,
while Jarno Trulli, the highly promising Italian from
Pescara, already appears to be one of the future greats.
It's up to him to live up to the promise! |
