A Small Lesson

Love has many hills and valleys, this is so true
You can be very happy or be down and blue
Life can be so wonderful, all is bright and new
Or fall apart so quickly, you don't know what to do

It begins so innocently, with just a smile
You woo her with your charm, attract her with your style
You want to hear her voice, so the phone you must dial
Now you want to meet her, so you'll go the extra mile

As things are going great, and everything is kewl
She's what you've always looked for, a hidden little jewel
But play the game careful, don't be nobody's fool
And all you'll see will work out, just follow this rule

Now your feelings run deeper, than just a simple friend
A sweet mutual caring, the message you send
How far this will go, upon alot it does depend
Just show your true feelings, and hope you don't offend

No matter what you try to do, sometimes it don't work out
You have no choice, but to walk away, so don't even pout
Now you know this is not the end, without a single doubt
You've just learned a small lesson, of which Life is all about.
