CYBER GARDEN

I strolled through a cyber garden Beneath a moonlit cyber sky And wished upon a thousand stars As my heart began to sigh The path led in all directions With many an unseen turn I felt so small and helpless As my heart began to yearn Then one day I met you Walking through the garden gate We walked along together Not caring it was getting late Too soon we had to say goodnight But, we weren't lonely for awhile Now each time I think of you My heart begins to smile Copyright ©1998 Susan Stevens

INNOCENT HEARTS

Words upon a tiny screen In bright colors..red, blue and green Saying how much you truly care Never meant, yet you put them there Moments shared, filled with fun I thought I was the lucky one Finding someone I could trust Now it's gone...turned to dust It took a while, but now I see You were never true to me You played a game, you told some lies So now I'm saying my goodbyes You say you're sorry, please don't go You say you really love me so I look back as I depart You're already playing with another heart The sad thing is, she's just like me Believes in you, her love flows free All I can do is weep and ache For that innocent heart...you'll one day break Copyright ©1998 Susan Stevens
