THE KNOWLEDGE, 6/89

There are many lessons one can cite;
but of all, knowledge is the one with might.
Material things can be bought or sold;
but knowledge, once learned is yours to hold.

This knowledge can be obtained through schooling;
or as a skill, in a trade from simply doing.
Everyday we learn a little bit more;
no matter how slight, it's your chore.

The day when you stop your learning;
the carousel of life stops turning.
So keep an open mind, and plan to learn;
seek knowledge, at life's each and every turn.
