Three stages in the interesting life of Jean Nash Christian, born Norah Jane Christian 1916-1996 daughter of Andrew Johnstone Nash Christian 1884-1930s (yet another son of Allen Christian) and Emily Sarah Quintal 'Aunt Em'. She first married James Mitchell of Melbourne and in 1990 Keith Bishop. Jean took over Aunt Em's (the best place to stay on Norfolk with a real traditional atmosphere) from her mother, the original Aunt Em! Check out the mushroom incident.

On the previous page we saw the male lines of this branch of the Christians. The upper photograph shows Catherine 'Kitty' Christian 1839-1894 married George Francis Mason Evans, son of the original John Evans and of Rachael Adams. All the present Evans' on the Island are descended from Kitty.
Below: Emily Wellesley Christian 1852-1922 married the original George Bailey. All the Baileys and Christian-Baileys on the Island are descended from her.
