Guestbook

This page would ideally be a platform for literary debate, as I've seen precious few elsewhere. Most of the discussions on literature newsgroups and mailgroups seem to disintegrate into flame wars with depressing speed, and perhaps this format will induce a little more reflection and politeness.

Remember, the eyes of the world are upon you. Completely off-beam postings would be better e-mailed to me.

Format

This didn't get much action as a dialogue page, so now I'm throwing this message board open for all comers. Post what you want, but keep it (reasonably) clean and polite. (Insulting, inappropriate or otherwise unwelcome posts will be removed immediately.)

I'd like to see some genuine literary, cultural, and intellectual debate on this page. Comments on the site are also welcome, but I'll be happiest if you talk amongst yourselves.
