The pentagram is an ancient magical symbol used to keep out evil spirits. When Faust drew one near his door he misaligned its components and the devil was able to enter his abode... but he had trouble getting back out. This pentagram marks the Primary Com-Port: your doorway to the outside world. It serves to contain the few evils I allow to enter, (for educational purposes only), and keeps the others out (like those pesky viruses). Hopefully I drew it right...
