At Berkeley Gardens Kindergarten we have many rules and regulations to ensure full protection of your children. These rules are a compilation of legal requirements and in house decisions which are aimed at enabling staff to complete their job to the best of their ability whilst providing a safe environment so your children can enjoy themselves whilst learning.

Security:

  1. All children must be signed in & out and the beginning and end of each care session. This must be done in front of a BGK supervisor before the child is allowed to leave the premises. Upon signing in or out parents/carers must present photograph id, and sign their name on the prescribed 1A form.
  2. Prior to starting care at BGK all children must undertake a full medical examination by an approved Physician and results must be shown to the BGK supervisor prior to signing the child on.
  3. All staff are required to have undertaken the working-with-children check and any further background checks which may be deemed necessary based on the work requirements.
