has been a good year for the both of us. This was our first year to enter our cars into any VW shows and we are glad that we did. We entered our first show together in Victoria at "Volksfest '96." Which was a very good show with a good turn out of air cooled and water cooled cars.

Being rookies, we were unsure of getting any placing at all but it turned out Dennis took 1st in our class (post '68 custom) and Darryl placed 2nd. Not too bad for a first try. The second show we entered was "The Great Canadian Volkswagen Show" which was a larger turn out with more cars in our post '68 Cal look class.

This was a bigger show with more competition for us and it was voted by peoples choice rather than judges so we had no idea of what the out come would be. The results turned out that Darryl placed 1st and Dennis placed second. Two in a row not bad, eh?
