Howdy!  Thanks for visiting my home on the web.  In case you missed the banners, I'm Mustangbear.  Why Mustangbear?  Simple.  I like Mustangs (the shiny, fast, metal variety), and bears (the big, burly, friendly, often hairy, human type), so the nickname was a natural.  Friends call me Chris, enemies call me other things, but there's no need to go into that.

The furry beast in my lap is my dog, Tallulah (Lulu for short).  If she looks a bit ugly, that's okay -- she's an Olde English Bulldog, so she's supposed to look like that.

There's another furry beast in my life. His name is Dan, and we've been together for a year as of Oct, 2004, and living together for 4 months. He's a big, hot, beefy bear, and I love him more every day. He's taught me a lot about life, how to live it, and not to fear new experiences. I never thought I'd find a 'forever' thing, but it looks like this may be it. He has a profile here.

I live in a little community nestled in the hills of western Pennsylvania in an old house that I'm slowly turning into something presentable.  It's a great place to live... clean, quiet, and very scenic, yet only 30 miles from downtown Pittsburgh.

For those who are interested, here are my stats:

Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 288 lb
Neck: 19.5"
Arms: 19"
Chest: 54"
Waist: 40"
Thighs: 31"

So, as you can see, I'm a fairly substantial guy.  I lift weights at least 4 times per week in my home gym, so I'm working hard to become even more substantial!  If you're intrigued, there are some pictures here.

I have red hair (occasionally shaved), a goatee or beard (as the mood suits me), green eyes, and blonde fur that's invisible in photos.  I also have three tattoos :  a Harley logo and a Mustang logo on my left arm, and Joe Cool on the right.

I'm a computer professional for a mid-sized manufacturing company -- webmaster, database administrator, software developer, etc, etc, etc.  It's  a pretty cool job, and I have lots of freedom, so I'm happy with my job.  I'm also happy to hear comments like "Gee... you don't look like a computer geek."  Amen to that!  I work with a guy who looks like he stepped out of a Far Side cartoon.

With whatever time I have left, I love to tinker with my fleet.  I've been a Mustang fan as long as I can remember, and, while I have owned and will continue to own other cars, there will always be a Mustang in my stable.  Click to find out more about my wheels.
