One of the most exciting benefits of the Internet is the availability of the latest information in the medical field. More than ever, family physicians need to stay current in many areas of medicine. Often we (and the patients too) read of the latest medical advances in the lay press. It can take years for medical material to make its way into a textbook, and then it becomes frozen in time. Overcoming this natural delay in widespread availability of printed information is where the Web really comes in handy. Many of the major journals now have sites containing at least a portion of their printed material. And often, material beyond that in print is available, as well as links to other useful sites.
There are an amazing number of medical sites found in the Internet. Going through these sites takes a lot of time, effort and causes eye strain.. It is useful indeed if the sites are annotated with comments. This will help family physicians to get quickly to quality medical information and to minimise the time spent surfing. This would need a huge effort to weed through the plethora of information and unlikely to be accomplished by one person. I hope that visitors to this site would contribute to this effort. Give your commentary on the medical sites you have visited and found useful and would like to recommend to fellow colleagues. Please email whatever you have written to me. This would be put up and hopefully with time, this will become THE SITE for family physicians wishing to have some guidance on the medical sites
CMENetLinks - A mixture of interesting medical sites with emphasis on Family Medicine/Primary Care/General Practice

Come CME with Lee - What I have found interesting in the Net. These are the articles that I would like to share with everyone. I welcome comments and suggestions. The emphasis, although is on Family Medicine, is wide ranging and general as you would find.
I have found it difficult to keep up with the postings but will try to activate this site as frequently as possible. As time goes by, some of the links may become dead. Please inform me so that I can have it deleted or updated.
