Rod Casting

 

Liquid unsaturated polyester resin  is poured and allowed to  solidify in  aluminium rods or tubes in the shape of rods of buttons. This pouring  is done using  some of the most advanced techniques in the world to obtain an unbelievably vast array of designs and structures. Rod Casting is a very useful process to obtain material in horn imitation. After the resin in the rods has solidified and is in the shape of rod, it is removed from the aluminium tube. The rod is then cut up into small round discs or blanks.
