Computer Tools II

Description: This course is an introduction to database tools using Microsoft Access and desktop publishing tools using Adobe InDesign.

The course is divided into two sections: database design, desktop publishing.

  • Database design: students will learn database basics and how to create a simple data base in Microsoft Access. (TBD)
  • Desktop publishing: students will learn desktop publishing basics and how to create professional layouts with sophisticated graphics and typography.

Every class is a hands-on workshop whereby each student is required to complete guided exercises within the class time.
