NFC still to come. Updates will be made after NFL draft. Sorry for the inconvience.

AFC East

Dolphins - Miami went into the free agent market to get Marino more targets. They signed Lawrence Dawsey, and 8 year veteran TE Walter Reeves. However, with only 55 career catches and only three TDs, don't look for Reeves to do much behind Troy Drayton and Frank Wainright. Nonethe less, if Marino can stay healthy, he is gonna throw a bunch of TDs. The Dolphins will robably use the running back by committee system, but watch for Karim Abdul-Jabbar to rise to the top.

Colts - Injuries, killed Indianapolis last year and fantasy owners who drafted Colts after their dream season. . However, with Marshall Faulk healthy and rookie sensation 'Marvelous' Marvin Harrison back, expect Jim Harbaugh and company to contend for a division title and score a few fantasy points on the way..

Bills - In Buffalo, the question remains, "How will the Bills play without Jim Kelly's leadership?" The answer, coming this fall! The Bills tried to fill the gap by bringing in free agent Billy Joe Hobert, who did decent job subbing for the Hoss last year in Oakland. He'll have to win the spot from Todd Collins, but should have no problem with that.

Jets - New Coach Bill Parcells knows how to build champions He has a young crew, to work with, and they may be a couple of years off. But look for some good fantasy points from Adrian Murrell who is coming into his own. New York signed Lorenzo Neal, will be used as a blocking back giving Murrell. And watch out, Neal had 30 catches for 191 yards last year with the Saints. Parcells may have bigger plans. And of course last year's rookie sensation Keshawn Johnson should prosper, barring any sophmore jinx, produce big numbers for some fantasy team.

Patriots - New England replaced Parcells with (ironically) X Jets coach, Pete Carroll. Carroll was fired after two seasons in NY after a dismal performance. After a couple of years in San Fransisco, this defensive specialist, gets to take over a championship team. Will he be able to hold it together and make another run? The Pats still have the fire power with Ben Coates, Drew Bledsole and Curtis Martin, all of which are early draft picks in any fantasy draft.

AFC Central

Bengals - After starting out 1 - 6 last season, Cincinnati finished strong, winding up 8-8. Bruce Coslet got 4 year deal after resurecting Bengals last year, going 6-2 after Dave Shula got the boot. The Bengals signed Boomer Esiason as backup to Jeff Blake. Watch for fans to scream for Esiason if Blake begins to falter. Either way, Carl Pickens and Darnay Scott should still shine. With Garrison Hearst in a 49er uniform, Ka Jana Carter needs to step it up.

Jaguars - The Jags shocked the world last year with their playoff victory over the Broncos. After last season, expect Mark Brunnell to get drafted early. Will Jacksonville be able to improve on last seasons triumphs? Who knows. But, Tom Coughlin still looking for youth from draft, this means that the Jags will be contenders for years to come.

Oilers - Houston (or Nashville, which ever applies) will finally give Steve "Air" McNair his chance. If the Oiler offensive line can keep defenses off McNair expect him to flourish, both rushing and passing. Other young players to watch are Chris Sanders, and running back sensation Eddie George. Houston rebuilt quickly, and should be exciting to watch. It's a shame nobody will drive to the Astrodome to witness it.

Ravens - Vinny Testeverde surprised a lot of people last season passing for 33 TDs and rushing for 2 more. Can he repeat the heroics that made the Ravens say, "Bernie who?"? Or will Testy sink back to the mediocity that he's dwelled in the rest of his career. A couple of things to consider; Baltimore has already lost two linemen to free agency as well as WR coach Mike Sheppard to Chargers.

Steelers - Pittsburg was again seemingly desimated by free agency. However, don't expect much different from Bill Cowher and the Pittsburg Steelers, the man can coach. Despite the revolving door in player personnel, the Steelers managed to hold on to Jerome Bettis and Mike Tomczak who now will be demoted to 3rd strimg behind, either Kordell Stewart or Jim Miller. Stay tuned!

AFC West

Broncos - After great regular season and that disappointing playoff loss, Denver must try to regroup. John Elway had arthroscopic surgery on his throwing shoulder, an injury that plagued him for much of last year. But he shouldn't miss any training camp. If he can't throw, he can still run. Elway averaged 5 yards a carry last year including 4 touchdowns. Shannon Sharpe and Terrell Davis will be back and both should be as deadly as ever. They also added FB Howard Griffith and WR Willie Green from Carolina.

Chargers - After giving Bobby Ross the boot, San Diego signed Kevin Gilbride as their new coach. They gave Tony Martin a sweet one year deal, so he should give it his all looking ahead to next year. Expect to see more out of Aaron Hayden and Terrell Fletcher. Leonard Russell, who started out good, did not have the type of year you expect from you starting RB. Russell only found the Endzone 7 times all year and averaged only 3.3 yards per carry.

Chiefs - Kansas City sought help again from the west coast. Elvis Grbac, KC's 3rd 49er QB, signed a 5 year contract to replace Bono, who was benched mid season and Rich Gannon, who proved to not be much better. Expect Greg Hill to be their man at RB but never underestimate Marcus Allen (I have for three years and it costs me every time) The Chiefs need WR. And Elvis is not much more mobile than Bono, one of the big knocks against Bono. Grbac averaged less than a yard in an offense that has Young averaging 6.

Raiders - In Oakland, they are not afraid of controversy. During the off season, new coach Joe Bugel, signed QB Jeff George, who was released last season from the Falcons after a dispute with the coaching staff. (He must of said some pretty nasty things that fateful afternoon). To help their cause, the Raiders tradec WR Hobbs with the Saints and got second pick overall in the upcoming draft. They also signed Desmond Howard and have vowed to give him time at WR.

Seahawks Seattle has shaken things up a bent. They sent Rick Mirer to Bears, brought in old WA Husky, Warren Moon to back up John Friesz and traded Altanta for 3rd pick overall. Cris Warren will have to step it up, only 855 yards last year and 5 rushing TDs. A disappointing season for him, and devastating FFLers WR .Joey Galloway will still be their man. Look for him to improve on his 7 TDs of 1996
