Hello,
Another Yule season brings with it the usual heightened
feelings of
- Thankfulness for the health and happiness of loved ones
- Hope for improvements in the well-being of Earth's
occupants and of Earth in general
- Appreciation for friends and family, without whom no true
personal happiness would be possible
- The desire to renew and strengthen personal bonds with
friends, family members, and colleagues who are admired
and respected
With these thoughts in mind, I would like to wish you the
traditional
Merry Christmas and
Happy New Year!
Interesting things that happened to me in 1994:
- I was admitted to several law schools (most notably
UCLA), but chose instead to pursue a consulting position
with Price Waterhouse in Washington DC
- In June, I was on a freeway in Los Angeles when O.J.
Simpson drove by in his white Ford Bronco, threatening to
kill himself
- I received my ten gallon pin from the American Red Cross
for reaching that threshold of lifetime blood donations
- I completed a 15-mile run (farthest in my life)
- I turned thirty
- I purchased a Pentium-based Personal Computer (my first
computer - too bad it can't divide correctly!)
- I started using Onza clipless pedals on my bicycle (after
trying and vetoing LOOK clipless pedals)
- I taught a lifesaving class at a local pool
Keep in Touch,
Smile & Be Happy!!
