Greetings and Felicitations,

I write from the collegial halls of Durham, North Carolina, intent upon expressing my deepest felt wishes for your continued and ever increasing happiness, health, and success.

My hopes are that your loftiest ambitions are met, that today's dreams become tomorrow's reality, that the fun-loving child in you never quite abdicates, and that you never let the world's cold harshness penetrate your substantial inner warmth.

Silver Bells

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks dressed in holiday style. In the air there's a feeling of Christmas. Children laughing, people passing, meeting smile after smile, and on ev'ry street corner you hear: the clear sound of Silver Bells, Silver Bells, It's Christmas time in the city. Ring-a-ling, hear them ring, soon it will be Christmas day.

Strings of street lights, even stop lights blink a bright red and green. As the shoppers rush home with their treasures. Hear the snow crunch, see the kids bunch, this is Santa's big scene, ad above all this bustle you hear: the clear sound of Silver Bells, Silver Bells, It's Christmas time in the city. Ring-a-ling, hear them ring, soon it will be Christmas day.

Smile and Be Happy!
Merry Christmas!
