    Second round, 52nd overall - SHANE ENDICOTT, center, Seattle (WHL), 6-4, 200 lbs. Smart, play-making centerman with great size. Rated the No. 11 prospect in North America by NHL Central Scouting.
    Third round, 84th overall - PETER HAMERLIK, goaltender, Skalica (Slovakia), 6-1, 187. Rated the No. 2 prospect among European goaltenders by NHL Central Scouting.
    Fourth round, 124th overall - MICHEL OUELLET, 6-1, 182, right wing, Rimouski, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Was a junior teammate of goaltender Sebastien Caron, the Penguins' third-round pick in 1999.
