D. If you start play in any individual play-off event (including
Hi/Lo) and decide not to finish, you will forfeit your rights to:
1) Play in ANY West Coast Challenge event for that current season; and 2) Participate, during the following season, in that play-off in which you dropped out of during the regular season. E. Player participants in the WCC can gain a League subsidy for hotel expenses in the following way: For each special tournament that the League members participate in during a regular season, the League will subsidize 20% of the cost of one night’s WCC lodging ("one night" being defined as = one night’s single accomodation). Any combination of tournament participation and cash donation are also acceptable. To gain a WCC hotel subsidy, League player participants must take advantage of this plan no later than the 10th night of play! Board Members, who are required to attend all WCC events, will continue to receive a subsidy of one night’s lodging. This WCC subsidy policy will not apply to those seasons when the WCC in LA. ARTICLE VII PROTESTS AND AMENDMENTS
Section I:PROTESTS Protests will be allowed only if based on an incorrect application of a playing rule. The protested game should be circled with a brief explanation on the front of the scoresheet. The Board of Governors is required to meet the Monday night preceding the last night of regular season play to settle any outstanding protests. This is the final night in which protests will be heard for the first nine weeks of season play. Any disputes which may arise on the last (tenth) week of play will be resolved by the Board when score sheets are personally turned in the last night of play, as required. Section II:AMENDMENTS Amendments to these By Laws will be by a simple majority vote of the Captains at the fall Captain’s Meeting or by a two-thirds (2/3) vote at any other time.
